Are masks required in the residence halls?

Face coverings are now required on campus except for in residence hall rooms and residential common areas when distance. The rule applies to everyone, regardless of vaccination status.

Are residents allowed to have visitors in their rooms?

Yes, residents are permitted to have guests in their residence hall and room.

Are overnight guests permitted in the residence halls?

Yes, overnight guests are permitted.

What happens if a campus resident tests positive for COVID-19?

Isolation housing is available on campus for any resident who tests positive and cannot return to their home safely.

What happens if I test positive or am potentially exposed?

Per CDC and ADPH guidance, unvaccinated individuals remain subject to quarantine/isolation protocols, in the event of a positive test or potential exposure. Individuals required to follow quarantine/isolation protocols should plan to return to their legal residence. For campus residents unable to return home, UA will maintain limited on-campus housing designated for this purpose.
