Fall 2024

All halls remain open for Thanksgiving break.

Winter Break 2024

The residence halls will tentatively close for winter break on Saturday, Dec. 14, at 10 a.m. Central time.

If UA hosts a 1^st round College Football Playoff game (meaning we are ranked 5^th, 6^th, 7^th or 8^th seed), the residence halls will close on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 10am Central time.

Residence halls will close on Dec. 22 only if UA is hosting a 1^st round game on Dec. 20 or 21. If not, residents must leave the residence halls by 10 a.m. on Dec. 14.
On-campus dining options from Dec.14-22 are TBD.
No one at UA will know until early December about rankings or first-round playoff games.
No one can answer questions about ticket allotments yet (i.e., would freshmen be eligible for tickets).

Most residence halls tentatively close at 10 a.m. on Saturday, December 14. Graduating seniors may remain until 6 p.m. on December 14. Students should take everything they need for the break period. Students do not need to remove all belongings, unless they are not returning for spring semester.

Burke East/West, Parham, Bryce Lawn, The Highlands, Bryant, Rotary House and East Edge do not close for winter break.

Spring 2025

The residence halls close at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 3. Graduating seniors may remain until 6 p.m. on May 3.
