The 2021-2022 housing application for incoming freshman opens October 1, 2020, at 9 a.m. CDT. In order to apply for housing as a new incoming freshman, students must be admitted to the University and paid the freshman enrollment deposit (please note, it may take up to 24 hours after paying the enrollment deposit to access the housing application). To apply for housing for the 2021-2022 academic year, click on the “Apply for Housing” link below, log in using your myBama credentials, and select “Academic Year 2021-2022.” For assistance, review our Application Guide.
All incoming freshmen are required to participate in the Freshmen Residency Program, unless they meet at least one criterion for exemption.
If you decide not to attend UA, cancel your housing application prior to May 1 to receive a $165 full refund on your prepayment or June 1 to receive a partial refund of $100.
We anticipate that space will also be available for current campus residents and incoming transfer students, and this housing application will be available October 15, 2020, at 9 a.m. CDT. Returning students and incoming transfer students may cancel their housing application by May 1 for a full refund of their $115 prepayment and June 1 for a partial refund of $50.
