On-Call Response

There are HRC staff on call 24/7 365 days a year. When campus offices are closed, there is a resident advisor on call in each community. Students can go to their community desk or call their community desk. If there is an emergency, please call UAPD at (205) 348-5454.

Off-Campus Resources

HRC supports students as they transition to off-campus living through HRC’s Off-Campus Resources office, which oversees an off-campus housing website, housing fairs, and programming in the residence halls about leases, landlords, and successful community living.

Break Shuttle

HRC offers inexpensive shuttle service to and from the Birmingham Airport for academic breaks (fall break, Thanksgiving break, winter break, spring break, end of academic year).

Transportation

Getting around town and campus is important. Knowing where you can park on campus, the Crimson Ride Schedule, and how to get to the airport and around town can make your time at UA much simpler!

Getting Mail

For the safety and security of HRC residents, mail and packages are not delivered directly to the residence halls. All deliveries are made to the Ferguson Mail Center.
